Medicare Safety Net
The Medicare Safety Net reduces your out-of-pocket medical costs for people who require often medical care. When you see a doctor or specialist, or have certain blood tests or radiology imaging, you may be required to pay and out of pocket fee. Once you have spent a certain amount and reach a particular threshold, the rebate you receive subsequently for that calendar year increases, decreasing your overall out of pocket expenses. Threshold are calculated and adjusted, and we suggest referring to the below resources for the up-to-date information. If you have any questions do not hesitate to speak to our administration team.
